Guan Yin (also spelled Guanyin or Kuan Yin) is a bodhisattva associated with compassion, mercy, and healing.The bottle in her hand, often referred to as a "vase of compassion" or "vase of nectar," is a symbol of the bodhisattva's ability to dispense divine blessings and healing energy to those in need. The contents of the vase are considered to be the "sweet dew of compassion," representing the alleviation of suffering and the granting of spiritual nourishment. Made of metal, she stands on a double lotus base.
