Ksitigarbha Buddha is a revered Bodhisattva known for his vow to assist beings in the realms of suffering, particularly in hell and the afterlife. He is regarded as the guardian of earths womb and the protector of beings in the six realms of existence. The rings on his Vajra staff help him ward off obstacles and the sound produced is thought to dispel hindrances and purity the environment. Beautifully cast and a calming presence.
