Manjushri, Chenrezig, Vajrasattva
Manjushri, Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara), and Vajrasattva are three important bodhisattvas in Tibetan Buddhism. Each of them represents different aspects of enlightened wisdom, compassion, and purification. Manjushri is the bodhisattva of wisdom and is seen here wielding a flaming sword that cuts through ignorance and symbolizes transcendent wisdom. Chenrezig is the bodhisattva of compassion and is depicted with four arms, each holding different symbolic objects. He may also be depicted with eleven heads and a thousand arms, symbolizing his compassion reaching out to help countless beings. Vajrasattva is often depicted in white, symbolizing purity. He holds a vajra (thunderbolt) in one hand and a bell in the other, symbolizing the union of wisdom and compassion.
